Why Body Mapping Works

  1. It's YOUR body - not an abstract chart
  2. You already feel these things - just naming what's there
  3. It connects thinking to feeling - bridges the gap
  4. It's memorable - you carry your body everywhere
  5. It invites checking in - "what's happening in my chest right now?"
  6. It's universal - everyone has a body, regardless of language/culture

Quick daily/weekly body scan:

Close your eyes. Breathe.

HEAD     - Where's my attention right now?
GUARD    - Any tension in my chest, shoulders, throat?
HEART    - Does my heart feel open or closed? Alive or flat?
GUT      - How's my energy tank?
GRIP     - Am I clenching anywhere? Jaw? Hands? Holding tight to thoughts?
GROUND   - Do my feet feel connected to the floor? Am I HERE?
REACH    - Am I reaching out or pulling in today?
